1. Monday, March 1st

Today, we started a new week of school. In the morning, we had math class, and we learned about addition and subtraction using number lines. After recess, we had music class and learned a new song. In the afternoon, we had PE class and played a game of tag. I had a lot of fun today and I'm looking forward to the rest of the week.

2. Tuesday, March 2nd

Today, we continued learning about addition and subtraction in math class. I found it a bit tricky, but I managed to grasp it by the end of the lesson. In the afternoon, we had art class and drew pictures of our favorite animals. My favorite animal is a giraffe, so I drew a picture of a giraffe eating leaves from a tall tree. I'm happy with how my drawing turned out!

3. Wednesday, March 3rd

Today was a busy day. We had science class in the morning and learned about the water cycle. It was really interesting to see how water evaporates, condenses, and falls back to the earth as precipitation. After lunch, we had language arts class and read a story about a cat who went on an adventure. It was a fun story and I enjoyed reading it. In the evening, I had swim class and practiced swimming laps. I'm getting better at it!

4. Thursday, March 4th

Today, we had a field trip to the zoo! We saw lots of different animals, like lions, tigers, and bears. My favorite was the monkeys. They were swinging around and playing with each other. We also learned about how we can help protect animals and their habitats. It was a fun and educational day.

5. Friday, March 5th

Today was a shorter day because it was the end of the week. In the morning, we had social studies class and learned about different cultures around the world. After recess, we had a spelling test and I think I did well on it. In the afternoon, we had a class party to celebrate the end of the week. We played games and had snacks. It was a great way to end the week!

6. Monday, March 8th

Today is International Women's Day. In class, we talked about some amazing women who have made a difference in the world, like Malala Yousafzai and Rosa Parks. We also talked about how we can all make a difference, no matter how small, by standing up for what is right. It was a really inspiring lesson.

7. Tuesday, March 9th

Today, we had music class and learned a new song. It was a bit tricky, but we practiced it together and it sounded really good by the end of the lesson. In the afternoon, we had library class and got to check out some new books. I'm excited to read the one I picked out about a girl who goes on a camping trip.

8. Wednesday, March 10th

Today, we had a special guest speaker come to our class. She was a firefighter and talked to us about fire safety. She showed us some of the equipment firefighters use and even let us try on a helmet. It was really cool! In the afternoon, we had PE class and played kickball. I love playing kickball because it's so much fun to run around and try to score points.

9. Thursday, March 11th

Today, we had math class and learned about skip counting. It was a bit challenging, but I practiced it during recess with my friends and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. In the afternoon, we had science class and did an experiment with magnets. We learned about how magnets attract and repel each other. It was really interesting!

10. Friday, March 12th

Today was another shorter day because it's the end of the week. In the morning, we had language arts class and worked on writing stories. I wrote a story about a superhero who can fly and save people from danger. After recess, we had a spelling test and I think I did pretty well on it. In the afternoon, we had a dance party to celebrate the end of the week. We danced to some of our favorite songs and had a great time!

Conclusion

These past two weeks have been really fun and I've learned a lot. I'm excited to see what the rest of the school year has in store for me!
